Three weeks have passed since I came to Taroom in Australia. I am in the seventh heaven to be here for I have been interested in English conversation as well as primary school education. Now, I would like to show you my experiences here in terms of school and weekends. First, as for school, I teach Japanese culture and simple Japanese conversation to kids who are grade 4 to 7 as a Japanese teacher assistant on Tuesday. Having taken part in the same intern in New Zealand before, and kids having learnd Japanese culture from their Japanese teacher in Term 1, I have had not so much difficulties teaching kids. They are well-behaved but sometimes lose their temper with too much excitement. I feel I need to learn much more how to organiseze the class. Second, as for weekends, I enjoy walking, fishing, bawling, and running. My host took me to barbecue this weekend and I really had a good time with them. I am planning to try horse riding in the near future. |
