「 I feel I'm a real part of this school as a staff. 」なんて、とてもいい活動をされているようです。

I've been in Wabasha in Minnesota as a Korean intern to teach kids in elementary school, which is Wabash-Kellogg Public School, about Korea since last November in 2005. Through all around school year, I feel I'm a real part of this school as a staff.
When I came here first, I had been observed how the kids are doing at school at my host teacher's class for about two weeks. During the time, I could recognize how American kids work at school, what they like to do, and so forth. After these two weeks, I started to teach 1st grade classes through 3rd grade classes which is 6 classes in total, each of them was once in a week as much aspects about Korea as I can, such as Korean language(conversations, numbers, etc), Korean traditional costume, Korean food, Korean martial arts, Calligraphy), Korean dance(fan dance), Korean music, Korean games, folding papers, etc. Most of them were something new and the ones they don't get to see closely or easily in U.S.A., the kids have been enjoying them very much.
As for my lives with host family, there are 5 of them who are host parents, 2 girls and a boy. I usually spend time with the 2 girls playing all kinds of games or doing art projects. They are my best friends and good English teachers. On last Thanks giving day, I went to New York with my host family having a wonderful time. Through these times, I could recognize America’s different culture from mine as well as enjoying them.
I've been in Bell Quoir at the church since March, thanks to one of teachers to introduce me. Through this practice, I could make a good relationship with the quior members as well as learning about the hand bells.
Generally speaking, I have a wonderful time while I've been here with a lot of nice people and special experiences that I'd never had before. Even though I had a hard time about communicating and living with new people, I would like to say it was my precious challenge for my career and my life in the future.
