Intern’s Expected Duties
(1) Teaching Japanese in the Passport Level 1 module for beginners (possibly 2 classes, for 4 hours a week).
- Classroom management, based upon a communicative language teaching syllabus aimed at using the target language functionally in a social context.
- Creating active learning environments where students positively engage in group exercises and pair work by doing quizzes and games.
- Using authentic materials, such as advertisements, magazines and newspapers if possible.
- Managing the University’s on-line learning tool ‘eBridge’.
(2) Conducting listening and speaking tests.
(3) Marking exam papers and evaluating students’ achievements.
(4) Supporting learners’ self-study outside the class, such as consulting learning materials and promoting the language exchange scheme with Japanese native speakers.
(5) University’s administrative matters, such as checking students’ registration and their weekly class attendance as well as email correspondence with them.

The ideal candidate for the position should possibly have the following: Teaching experience in Japanese as a foreign language in a classroom situation, dealing with a large number of students. Good command of English to be able to conduct day-to-day administration within the University. Good time-management skills. Excellent communication and team-working skills.

登録時から帰国までのサポート、研修先の確保・アレンジ、現地トレーニング費、英語履歴書の指導・添削、電話インタビュー個別指導、ビザサポート、渡航前語学レッスン、国内事前研修、日本文化紹介資料、現地到着時空港（最寄の駅、バス停を含む）出迎え手配、プログラム運営費

往復渡航費、現地交通費、滞在費、海外旅行傷害保険料、パスポート取得費、健康診断費、ビザ申請取得・入国・滞在に関わる諸費用、おこづかいなどの個人的な費用

書類審査と電話インタビュー（語学力の確認を含む）iiPによる選考の上、iiPが研修先に推薦を行い、研修先担当者（来日予定）との面接・模擬授業を行います。選考は申込順に随時行います。

指定の出発時期に参加可能な方のみとなります。
今回の募集は上記研修先のみの研修手配となり、iiP及び研修先にて選考を行った結果、上記研修先での受け入れが成立しない場合もあります。
